[Event] DRIFTWOOD - Book Circle
Date: Tuesday, 15 February 2005 , 04:00 PM
— 05:00 PM
Duration: 1 hrs [view day] [view week] [view month] [view agenda] Welcome to the Book Circle. The Book Circle meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. in the Fischer Room. The Book Circle is reader organized and readers choose the book list. All are invited to attend. We will be discussing In Her Shoes by Jennifer Weiner this Tuesday. IN HER SHOES, the story of two sisters with nothing in common but the same size feet and the grandmother they never knew, is published in hardcover. PEOPLE calls it "an entertaining romp through family battles and toxic relationships." USA TODAY says the book "will make you laugh and possibly cry." THE PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER hails the maturity of the writing. Jen celebrates with whoopee cushions, and a fourteen-city tour, including her first-ever fancy-schmancy book party at the Kenneth Cole boutique in SoHo. (from Weiner's website) For more about Jennifer Weiner and her books go to http://www.jenniferweiner.com/about.htm and for a little fun visit her blog, http://jenniferweiner.blogspot.com/ .
