Teenagers who want to learn how to make surprising things out of Duct tape will have their chance at Newport Library on March 16th. The class, 7-9 p.m. in the library’s McEntee Room, features colored duct tape and the many things that can be created with it. Youth ages 12-18 will be supplied with the materials and plans for constructing such items as billfolds, sandals, picture frames, or items of their own creation. “Duct tape fashions are great fun, easy to construct, and very affordable,” says
This Teens’ Third Thursdays event is part of a series funded by the “Bridges to Literacy” project. The project is sponsored by Trust Management Services, LLC and the Newport Public Library Foundation.
