Duration: 1 hrs 30 mins [view day] [view week] [view month] [view agenda] Driftwood Public Library Teen Writing Group Held every other Wednesday 4:30 - 6:00p.m. Driftwood Public Library will host a free-form Teen Writing Group every other Wednesday from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Teens meet with Teena Nelson for informal writing tips, games and fun techniques designed to inspire the young writers and assist them in the creative process. Topics to be covered vary from haiku and poetry to essays and fantasy writing. The group is open to anyone in middle and high school who would like extra writing time. The group will meet every other Wednesday throughout December, January, February and March. The writers program is for teens in middle and high school that love to write, want to create and share their styles with friends and learn new techniques to inspire their writing. This is a free program. Volunteers who would like to assit with the program are welcome.
